Terms of use

Last updated 21 October 2026. These terms cover the website cardlift.app, the waitlist, and the Cardlift app once it is released.

1. Who we are

Cardlift is run by Pietro Soli, Denmark, business registration (CVR) no. 43040383, hi@thelifeofpiet.com.

2. What Cardlift is

Cardlift shows an estimate of the market value of the cards inside sealed Pokémon Trading Card Game products and compares it with the price of the cheapest listing we found. It is information for collectors. It is not financial, investment or purchasing advice, and no verdict is a recommendation to buy, open or sell anything.

3. Accuracy

Prices come from public market listings and recent sales and change constantly; the app shows when its prices were last refreshed. Pull rates per rarity are estimates from market research and web research. The contents of a product are taken from the product's own description and published references; where a product's contents or a card inside cannot be pinned down, the app says so rather than guessing. We work hard on accuracy but give no guarantee that any figure is correct, complete or current, and we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of them.

4. The waitlist

Signing up on the website asks us to e-mail you once when the app is released and, if you tick the box, when the private cross-grading group opens. Market notes are sent only with your separate consent and every one carries an unsubscribe link. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

5. The app and subscriptions

The app will be distributed through Apple's App Store. A free tier and a paid subscription (Cardlift Pro) are planned. Subscriptions will be sold, billed, renewed and cancelled through your Apple ID under Apple's terms; prices and trial periods are shown in the App Store before you buy. Any purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; it transfers no rights to the data it shows.

6. Acceptable use

You may not scrape, copy, resell or redistribute the app's data or content, interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Third parties and trademarks

Pokémon and all card names, artwork and related marks are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc. and The Pokémon Company. Marketplace names belong to their owners. Cardlift is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; their terms apply there.

8. Changes and termination

We may change the service, these terms, or stop offering the service. Material changes to the terms are posted here with a new date. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

9. Law

Danish law applies. Consumers in the EU keep the mandatory rights of their home country. Disputes go to the courts of Denmark, and EU consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
